It's also important that you remove distractions from your room, such as televisions, and stereos. Try to get at least seven hours of uninterrupted sleep each night. If you take naps during the day, and then find it difficult to sleep through the night, try limiting your naps to no longer than 30 minutes at a time. The short power naps will help boost your energy without interfering with your nightly rest.

Keep the Air Clean

While you're going through cancer treatment, it's important to avoid harmful chemicals. That's why it's crucial that you keep the air clean. Avoid second-hand smoke as much as possible. Toss out all your chemical household cleansers, and use simple ingredients such as lemon juice, or vinegar to get your house clean. Most importantly, install an air cleaner in your home to keep the air you're breathing as clean as possible during treatment.
